Instagram × AllTrails is a feature-proposal prototype for Photo Search. You see a hiking photo on Instagram, share it to AllTrails through the iOS share sheet, and land on AI-ranked trail matches for that photo, each one a normal AllTrails trail you can save, download, or open.

The whole flow, start to finish: a post from lena.outside, out through the share sheet, and back with four matches ranked by how well they fit the photo.

The prototype plays like the real apps rather than a mockup of them. Every screen was rebuilt from screenshots of Instagram and AllTrails, with colors, type sizes, spacing, corner radii, and icon stroke weights measured from the references and encoded as design tokens, then verified by overlaying the build on the original screenshot until the two lined up.
